Hamler Insurance Company was started in 1927 by Bob Kraus and was located at 45 N. Miami Street.  Tom Hamler purchased the agency in September of 1956 and worked hard to grow the business.  He moved the business to the current location of 102 N. Main Street into the old Citizen's Bank Building.  He brought Don Fisher in as a partner in 1973 and his son Mark Hamler in 1977, who is now President of the Agency.  Tom Hamler's grandson, Matt Gingrich, joined the Agency in 2003.
